Keep away from colds and flu by using Virtual Services

I read an article the other day about how to keep colds and flu out of your office, which is very apt considering what's flying around at the moment. It offered 10 tips for office managers and staff, most of which are sensible and pretty obvious:
  1. Encourage employee vaccinations
  2. Adhere to your policies, lead by example
  3. Wash your hands after using the toilet
  4. Don't sneeze into your hands
  5. Provide desktop tissues and wipes
  6. Tell sick people to stay at home
  7. Plan for an increase in sick days
  8. Encourage more personal space
  9. Buy more hands-free appliances
  10. Vaccinate your children
We've  added an even better 11th tip... Outsource your admin to a virtual service provider, which is perhaps less obvious, but it does offer many other benefits. For example, there's at least one less person in the office to spread colds, and when the office is struck down your admin support service isn't affected.

Remember, it takes one hell of a cold to keep a self-employed person away form their home-office desk!
